Raw material hot-rolled coil, which is affected by the prices of other raw materials such as iron ore and coke, fluctuate greatly. So the price validity period is very short, and the price needs to be updated from time to time.

Thickness of the paint coating

Factors of the thickness of the paint coating, the price is different depending on the thickness of the paint coating, the thicker the paint coating, the higher the price. For pe-paint, the cost increases by around $5 for each additional 1mic thickness. For SMP paint, the cost increases by around $10 for each additional 1mic thickness.

The thickness of the zinc coating

Factors of the thickness of the zinc coating, the higher the zinc coating, the higher the color coating price. Our factory color-coated galvanized coils have a zinc coating thickness from 30g to 275g; color-coated galvalume steel coils have a aluzinc coating thickness of 30g to 165g and are pure 55% aluminum content. Such as, For every additional 10g of zinc coating, the cost increases by $10.

Type of  Coating 

Different coating materials and different prices, are mainly divided into polyester coatings, SMP coatings, HDP coatings, and PVDF coatings.

ppgi coil mainly use polyester paint, and the price is moderate. SMP coatings are mostly used in tropical, rainy areas with high temperatures and humidity throughout the year, such as Central and South America.

HDP paint and PVDF paint are mostly used in tropical, high-cold, corrosion-resistant, and humid regions and countries. For example Canada and some tropical countries.

If the same paint coating thickness, SMP is 100–200 dollars more expensive per ton than PE.

Paint Brands

Different paint brands have different prices. Our factory now mainly uses Chinese brands, Beckers, PPGI, and Akzo Nobel. Compared with the other two brands, the price of Chinese brand paint is lower. The other three are international brands, which are familiar to foreign customers, the paint quality is stable and the warranty is more than 10 years. If the customer has a budget and is used in relatively humid and hot areas, it is recommended to choose the Beckers, PPG, and Akzo Nobel.

Plastic Film

coils with plastic film or non-plastic film, our factory mainly has 40, 50, 70, and 80 micron thickness films for customers to choose. The thicker the film, the higher the price. Also, if it is recommended to choose vertical packaging, it can prevent the roll from collapsing during loading and unloading, and transportation.
