COSASTEEL is a Chinese prepainted galvalume steel coil manufacturer, capable of producing 0.2mm-1.0mm thickness, width 800mm-1250mm, the weight of coating is AZ150. We offer commercial steel (CS Types A, B, and C) and structural steel (SS). We use Polyester, Silicone Modified Polyester, Polyvinylidene Difluoride paints for customers to choose from.

Coating Structure

Prepainted galvalume steel coil coatings can be divided into three categories: primer, topcoat, and backcoat. Common ones are 2/2 and 2/1 coating structures.

The back side of the 2/1 can be coated with a layer of primer or only a layer of backcoat. It is mainly used for sandwich panels, which require the coating to have good bonding and foaming properties. The 2/2 uses a two-coat system of primer and backcoat, and is used as a single steel sheet.

40 Year Warranty

Our prepainted galvalume steel coil comes with a 40-year warranty in North America. Our 40-year warranty specifications:

Galvalume coating weight is 150g(AZ150).

The top coat should be no less than 25 microns; the back coat should be no less than 8 microns.

Paint brands are Valspar, Beko and PPG.

The paint material is super HDP(High Durability Polyester).

Paint thickness

Top finish coat with a thickness of 20μm or above can effectively prevent the intrusion of corrosive media. The requirements for back finish coat depend on the application. Sandwich panels only require one layer of bondable primer, while formed steel sheets also require two layers of paint with a thickness of at least 10 μm due to the indoor corrosive environment.
