Qatar Steel Industries Factory joined the steel industry in 1980 as a producer of finished and semi-finished steel products. It has fifteen branches worldwide.

QSIF is known for its double-skin sandwich roof panels. The thickness of their panels varies: RPUF–40/50/70/100mm, RPUF Crest–30mm, and 0.4mm to 0.6mm for pre-painted galvanized steel Facia sheets.  

The width is 1000mm, and the length is 12000mm. The pencil hardness is 2 (HB grade), while the scratch resistance is at 1500Gms. The specular gloss is 40 to 90 percent. The color shades include white, off-white, beige, green (light, dark), yellow, red, pink (light, dark), and blue & dark blue.

Prime Insulated Panel Industries is a project of Khalid Steel Industries, specializing in manufacturing and supplying sandwich panels. PIP produces Roof Panel 3 Rib (1000PPR3), Roof Panel 4 Rib (1000PPR4), and Roof Panel 5 Rib (1000PPR5).

PU sandwich panels have polyurethane insulation with densities of 38-40kg/m3 (Standard), fire class (B.s2.d0 EN 13501-1). The external sheet is Prepainted Galvanized Steel/Aluminum, and the internal sheet is Prepainted Galvanized Steel/Aluminum/Papercraft aluminum foil.

PIR sandwich panels have densities of 40-42 kg/m3 (Standard) and fire class (B.s1.d0 EN 13501-1). PU and PIR panels have the same core thickness of 30,40,50,75 and 100, U values of 0.53, 0.43, 0.31, 0.22, and R-values of 11, 13, 18, and 26.

Seashore Panel started its operation in the 1980s as a manufacturer of insulated panels and PEB components. They operate in the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Indian sub-continent under the Seashore Group.  

Seashore takes pride in its insulated sandwich panels due to their excellent thermal insulation, high load-bearing capacity, sound insulation, lightweight, easy repair, installation, and replacement.

The densities of the sandwich panels are 35 to 38 kg/m3 with closed cell content of >90 and thermal conductivity of 0.023 W/mK. The comprehensive strength is >110 KPa and a maximum of one percent for 48 hours at 25 and 70 degrees C.

2010 was the year when Doha Sandwich Panels Factory began manufacturing sandwich panels. This eco-friendly manufacturer boasts a production line that can fabricate and customize PU-insulated sandwich panels of various thicknesses, lengths, and widths.

The thickness of these panels is 50, 80, 100, and 150mm, with a length of 1000 to 6000mm and a width of 1143mm. The cladding is 0.5 to 0.7mm polyester pre-painted galvanized steel with or without external rib finishing.

The zinc content is G 40; the core insulation is polyurethane rigid foam (PUR). The density is 40 +/- 2 (Kg/m3) and thermal conductivity of < 0.023 (mW/m.K).  The fire property is a B2-rated chemical with protection film.
